Charles has been an integral member of the claims and litigation teams for some of the country’s largest infrastructure projects, including but not limited to Alaskan Way Viaduct & SR 99 Tunnel Project, Millennium Tower, Los Angeles International Airport, LA Metro Regional Connector Gold Line Extension, Yucca Loma Bridge and Yates Road Expansion and Hyatt Place Hotel projects.
Charles has prevailed at multiple arbitrations and secured monetary awards, including reimbursement of attorney’s fees and costs, on behalf of design professional and contractor clients. At mediations, Charles has obtained favorable settlements in defense of claims against design professionals often for a small fraction of the amounts demanded.

Additionally, Charles is a licensed California general building contractor with over 15 years of construction experience, including extensive experience with roofing and water intrusion issues in both public and private projects.
